Food sourcing & consolidation in China — The factory is seen before the order is placed.
CGC Global’s headquarters are in Hong Kong, where its Asia-Pacific sourcing and trade are coordinated. For retail chains and wholesalers who want to import food from China, that is where the work starts: we source confectionery and frozen novelties, check the manufacturer in person and consolidate several suppliers into one shipment.

How we work in China from Hong Kong.
- 01
Hong Kong, the trade gateway
Our headquarters are in Hong Kong: Asia-Pacific operations, regional sourcing and trade coordination sit there. The Hong Kong and Bangkok teams keep direct dialogue with Chinese manufacturers.
- 02
The factory, seen in person
Our own AI agents shortlist the manufacturers able to make a product. The team then visits, audits the line and negotiates the minimums; the order waits for that visit.
- 03
Consolidation in China
Goods from several Chinese suppliers are combined into one shipment with one set of documents, so a buyer who wants a range deals with one partner.
- 04
Scouting
In China our scouting follows confectionery as it spreads on social media. The agents read the signals; the teams follow up the ones worth a factory visit.
Lanes, stock and China CIQ.
From Asia our regular lanes run to Israel, Russia, Europe and the Middle East. Cold chain where the goods need it, customs clearance and FX settlement are arranged lane by lane.
Stock held in Hong Kong shortens replenishment.
Paperwork
China CIQ on the way out is handled by us, along with the certifications, labelling and localisation your market requires on the way in.
Before you import food from China.
What does a container of food from China cost, landed?
It depends on the goods, the suppliers’ minimums and the destination, so we do not publish a figure. Send the brief and the proposal comes back with supplier options, negotiated minimums, lead times and landed costs.
Can you consolidate goods we have already found in China?
Yes. A list of suppliers to consolidate is one of the briefs we take: their goods are combined into one shipment with one set of documents. Orders start at a full container, 20′ or 40′.
Which frozen foods do you source in China?
Fruit-shaped plant-based ice cream and candy-coated frozen grapes. If you want to import frozen food from China, those are the lines we source today; they travel under cold chain from the factory to your destination.
Send the brief to Hong Kong.
