From zero to #1 in Israel
— and 15K+ POS in Russia.
How CGC Global took Franuí, an Argentinian chocolate-covered frozen raspberry brand, and built it into a category leader across two of the world's most demanding F&B markets — using one strategic partnership, not two distribution deals.
The brief.
Franuí is a beloved Argentinian confection — individually-wrapped frozen raspberries coated in premium chocolate. In its home market it's iconic. Outside of Argentina, almost nobody had heard of it.
The brand's founding family approached CGC Global with a question most distributors can't answer honestly: could they scale Franuí into Russia and Israel — two markets with entirely different consumer codes, regulatory regimes, and payment infrastructures?
What CGC did differently.
Most F&B brands outsource each market to a different distributor. That creates cognitive overhead for the brand owner, inconsistent positioning, and (worst of all) no single partner accountable for growth.
CGC Global structured a multi-market strategic partnership: one contract covering Russia, Israel, and adjacent markets, with CGC owning every layer of the stack — sourcing from Argentina, cold-chain logistics, regulatory certifications, retail execution, and marketing amplification.
Israel — the 180-day sprint.
Israel is one of the world's most frozen-dessert-saturated markets per capita. Winning here meant hitting both sides of the distribution network: premium urban chains (Shufersal, Rami Levi) and the viral social-commerce layer (TikTok, Instagram Reels).
CGC executed a TikTok-first launch — leveraging micro-influencers and user-generated unboxing content before a single SKU hit the shelf. By the time Franuí landed in freezers, organic demand was already pulling product through distribution.
Russia — the structural unlock.
Most Western brands can't enter Russia today. Banking restrictions, regulatory complexity, and reputational risk have pushed distributors out of the market entirely. CGC Global took the opposite approach: we built the infrastructure.
Our Moscow hub provides end-to-end coverage — from compliant product registration, to cold-chain distribution into X5 and Magnit, to secure payment collection from Russian retailers back to the brand owner. No other distributor offers this combination.

Outcomes.
Why this matters for your brand.
If you own a breakthrough F&B brand, your scaling bottleneck is almost never product-market fit. It's execution across markets that each require different infrastructure. Retailers, regulators, cold-chain partners, payment corridors, marketing agencies — every market is a multi-vendor puzzle, and every handoff is a leak point.
The CGC Global model collapses that complexity into one relationship. One contract. One point of accountability. One joint P&L for your growth across Russia, Israel, Asia and Europe.
If Franuí went from zero to category leader in 6 months with our infrastructure, we can get your brand there too.
